Snoopy Tennis (1982, SP30) is a Game & Watch
video game released in 1982 by Nintendo. The game was very successful, perhaps
due to the Snoopy label, with Nintendo producing an estimated 1,200,000
worldwide.
Gameplay
In the game, you control Snoopy, moving him up and down to make him hit the oncoming tennis balls with your racket. When Snoopy returns Charlie Brown's ball, 2 points is scored. When Lucy's ball is returned, 3 points is scored. Lucy hits the ball twice as fast. If the ball is missed, a life is lost. The game speeds up over time. On 200 and 500 points, there is fanfare music, and the lost lives are cancelled. The gameplay is repetitive, and one of Game and Watch's more dull games.

Trivia
- A version of the game was released as a keychain title under the miniclassics label.
- The control button leaflet, which was only present in this game's box and Fire Attack's, showcases various characters from the Peanuts franchise.
- Unsurprisingly, due to licensing issues, the game was not released in any of the Game & Watch video games, though it was mentioned in Super Smash Bros. Brawl for the Wii.
- A special edition of this game was made, with the inscription HYDRAULIQUE DE FREINAGE on the case. It was sold on Ebay for about £600.
