Lion (1981, LN08) is the eighth Game and Watch release, and the last of
the Gold series.
Gameplay
In the game, you control two lion tamers and try to keep the lions in the cage. Zookeepers run back and forth with a chair, to prevent the lions from escaping.

Scoring
Two points are scored when the keeper keeps a lion in the cage. When a lion escapes, a miss is registered. After three misses, it is game over.

- A remake of Lion was featured in Game & Watch Gallery 3.
- In the Super Smash Bros. series, Mr. Game & Watch can use the chair he used in Lion in one of his attacks. In addition, the Flat Zone 2 stage can transform into a screen resembling Lion.
