Judge - Silver Series

Judge (1980, IP05) is a Game & Watch Silver game released on October 4th 1980.

Gameplay
In the game, The goal is to try and hit your enemy on the head with the mallet is your number is higher, or run away if your number is lower. If you are correct, you gain points. If you are incorrect, your opponent gains points. First person to 20 points wins. After the clock finishes ticking down, a number will appear over both players heads. If the number on your head is higher than the other player, you must attack before he runs away to get a point. If it is lower, vice versa. If both numbers are the same you must be the first to attack to get the point.

Trivia
An error would often occur in the game's multiplayer mode. If the second player got the highest number but ran, player one would get two points, though if the first player did so, the second would only get one. This was addressed in a leaflet and was taken out in the game's re-release.
In the Super Smash Bros. series, Mr. Game & Watch's side-B attack makes him attack with a weapon containing a number from 1 to 9, having different effects. The number 1, probably representing the fact that you couldn't win with it in Judge, makes Mr. Game & Watch damage itself. Other effects include freezing, burning and making food appear. The number 9 is a powerful smash attack.
